BOARD OF ELECTIONS SCHEDULES MEETING FOR PRIMARY CERTIFICATION
The Board of Elections is scheduled to meet at 10 am Monday, May 13, 2024, to certify the results of the April 23 primary election. The meeting will be held in the Gold Room, 4th floor of the Allegheny County Courthouse, unless otherwise noted.
Individuals wishing to submit public comment, or who wish to address the board, must email BOE@alleghenycounty.us by 10:00 am on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Written comments will be summarized at the meeting and entered into the record.
Those wishing to address the board should send an email including their name, address, and a statement that they intend to speak in person. Remarks will be limited to three minutes.
The meeting will also be streamed live on the county’s Facebook page. No Facebook account is needed to view it.

POLL WORKERS MAKE DEMOCRACY HAPPEN!
This election was conducted thanks to the work of nearly 7,000 poll workers. While we’re just finishing the primary election, we’re already looking ahead to staff poll workers for the November General Election.

Poll workers earn from $150 to $175 for the day. New poll workers also receive paid training.

IMPORTANT DATES
October 21, 2024 – Last day to register to vote in the General Election
Applications must be in by 5 pm.
October 29, 2024 – Last day to request a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot
Applications must be in by 5 pm.
November 5, 2024 – General Election
Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Last day for return of mail-in and civilian absentee ballots.
November 12 – Last day for return of voted military and overseas ballots
Must be submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 pm on November 4.
