TAKE THE SURVEY: SHARE FEEDBACK ON MAIL-IN AND IN-PERSON VOTING Voters are asked to help inform decision-making regarding the November General Election by participating in an 8-question survey asking about their voting preferences and experiences. The survey is hosted on an internal county platform. It will be offered to the general public via the County Executive’s social media pages (Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn) as well as this newsletter. Each participant may take the survey once. If you’d like to encourage others to give their input, you can do so by forwarding this email. The survey will close on Tuesday, September 3,

POLL WORKERS MAKE DEMOCRACY HAPPEN!
We’re already working to staff the November general election. Volunteers are particularly needed in Baldwin Borough, Clairton, Glassport, Jefferson Hills, Moon, Pleasant Hills, Ross, Scott, Stowe, and West Mifflin. Interested? Complete the poll worker application, learn more about the process, and get general information at https://www.alleghenycounty.us/Government/Elections/Poll-Workers Poll workers earn from $150 to $175
for the day. New poll workers also receive paid training. Know a student who may be interested? Allegheny County has a Student Poll Worker Program offering opportunities to receive community service credit or pay. Learn more here.

IMPORTANT DATES
October 21, 2024 – Last day to register to vote in the General Election Applications must be in by 5 pm.
October 29, 2024 – Last day to request a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot Applications must be in by 5 pm.
November 5, 2024 – General Election Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Last day for return of mail-in and civilian absentee ballots.
November 12 – Last day for return of voted military and overseas ballots Must be submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 pm on November 4.
